The registrar maintains vital records for the county. The following certified records are available through the office. Applications may be filled out in person or mailed.Only immediate family members may receive birth certificates.

The Fayette County Health Board determined that genealogy requests may be submitted for births occuring 100 years ago or deaths occuring 75 years ago.
